About Status Project

Our story

A Boston 501(c)(3) opening doors to housing stability, health, recovery, and opportunity.

Status Project Inc. is a Boston-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We support marginalized and underserved individuals and communities through inclusive, culturally responsive services and partnerships.

We work to improve access to housing stability, behavioral health and substance-use recovery resources, community support, health and social-service navigation, and opportunities for lasting stability and dignity. We serve people experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity, LGBTQ+ communities, immigrants, and others facing barriers to care, resources, and social inclusion.

Real people. Stronger futures. Each person who seeks help has a story. We believe everyone deserves dignity and a welcoming first step, in their own language.

Mission
